The dropping of the price from $39.99 to $19.99 due to quality concerns is so ironic and hypocritical its laughable. Glad the judge saw through this, stating their desire to ship an unfinished product at $39.99 a month prior. Obviously, good luck with the case. It looks strong from your side although hopefully the damage already done can be kept to a minimum. I'll stick with your demo and/or BCMG until the true UC makes it to market.

I cancelled. No way am I putting money in this publishers pocket and not the developer. And thats what it sounds like I would be doing if I understand this correctly. I'll wait for the real 3000ad supported version. In the meantime, I'll play BCMG. Its not a difficult decision at all in my eyes.

The sad thing here is all the heads that are going to explode trying to play the game from unsuspecting casual gamers (can you say Deerhunter?) that buy UC thinking its your typical "value" game.

Wow, this royally sucks. Doesn't this mean DC is shooting themselves in the foot? Aren't they going to lose money? Or are they guaranteed some kind of fixed margin? Their behavior through this whole debacle is bizarre. Good luck in court SC.

I use to drink the Fosters oil cans but I don't see them anymore. Some of my favs. are Sam Adams, Pilsner Urquell and Newcastle Nut Brown Ale. I swear the makers of are in cahoots with the breweries because you can't eat/drink one without the other. That goes for pizza too.

Ahhh, memories. My first experience online was Prodigy. It was slightly before AOL came on the scenes, somewhere around 1986-1988, I think? I seem to remember Compuserve was more nerdy, like more geared for the tech. and science crowd. The interface was still character based and ugly. I don't remember doing anything on Prodigy other than hang out in message boards and watch my online time ticker.

Why all the doom and gloom over Beagle 2? I thought they had another 4 or 5 chances for the orbiter to link to it? Heh, maybe the Spirit will find it with its high res. camera. USA, USA!

I think its pretty safe to say that UC will be out before both HL 2 and Doom 3.

First, Merry Christmas. Just curious what you guys think. I love the Babylon 5 series but for some reason, ignored Farscape altogether. Until now... The wife got me the Farscape 1st season DVD set. I know there is controversy surrounding this series due to the fact that they cut production before completing it. But is it as good as B5? Better? I'll be finding out soon enough, but I respect your opinions on this subject.

Nice impressions. From the games that I have played that are on your list, I think you are dead on. I would probably bump X2 up to a 8/10 (especially after the 1.1 patch), but otherwise, I agree.

I forgot to mention that you can fly around the interiors of stations. But the novelty wears off fast because there's no point to it (AFAIK), so instead I just use ESC after docking, which docks you instantly.

I get occassional spam on my fax, NEVER on my cell phone (*knocks on wood*) and donotcall.gov registry has been a godsend on my home phone!! I have received exactly ONE telemarketer since Oct. 7, the day my phone went into effect on donotcall.gov. When I told them I was on the list, she asked me for an ID #. I said "If you insist on asking that again my first question to you will be what is the name of your business?". With that she hung up. BTW, if you get cell phone spam, you can probably blame your provider for selling their list, because I'm pretty sure those #s don't get published anywhere.
